Slipping Away
What a difference a week makes. A couple of weeks ago the Montreal Canadiens had put together four straight wins. This past week has been an entirely different story. The Canadiens began their week with a lackluster effort in a disappointing 3-1 loss to the New Jersey Devils. Last night, the Habs' performance reached a new low in a 3-0 shutout loss to Dallas. Kari That Weight
Ryan Garbutt scored his first NHL goal and Kari Lehtonen made 31 saves Tuesday as the Dallas Stars shut out of the Montreal Canadiens 3-0. Mike Ribeiro, in his regular season return to Montreal, and Tom Wandell also scored for the Stars. Carey Price stopped 33 shots for the Canadiens, who have dropped four of their last five games.
