Jennifer Abel of Laval, Que., posted the best scores in four of the five rounds Saturday to claim the gold medal in the women's three-metre final Saturday at the season-opening FINA Grand Prix diving event. Abel registered 353.40 points to finish ahead of China's Han Weng, who had 350.25. Full Story.

Regina's Reuben Ross overcame a shaky start to capture a bronze medal in the men's three-metre event Friday at the season-opening FINA Grand Prix diving competition.
